Anything But Hank! in Winnipeg

Got into Winnipeg at 11:15 this morning, five minutes ahead of schedule. This is the first time I've arrived on time in Winnipeg since ... well, I can't remember the last time. Something of a miracle.

After a nap, I headed over to Aqua Books for the launch of Anything But Hank! Bit of a tougher crowd than the Vancouver launch, as a busload of inner-city kids, some of whom were definitely a bit old for the story comprised most of the audience. But the reading went pretty well and one copy was sold, so it was a worthwhile event.

Back to Vancouver tomorrow, then off to Lasqueti Island for the weekend, after which I'm heading to Ottawa for the Writers Festival.
